ULEZ & Clean Air Zone Compliant
The EVC CitySprint is fully exempt from the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) charge, the Birmingham Clean Air Zone, Bristol Clean Air Zone, and every other UK emission-restricted area. With over 30 towns and cities across the UK planning or operating Clean Air Zones, switching to a zero-emission electric van future-proofs your fleet against rising daily charges that can cost up to £100 per vehicle per day.
As a fully electric vehicle producing zero tailpipe emissions, the CitySprint qualifies for the lowest band of Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax) and is exempt from the London Congestion Charge — saving London-based fleets up to £15 per vehicle per day.

At just 5.4 pence per mile on electricity, the EVC CitySprint costs a fraction of what a diesel van does to run. A typical diesel van covering 15,000 miles per year spends over £3,000 on fuel alone. The CitySprint covers the same distance for approximately £810 — a saving of over £2,000 every year, per vehicle.
Maintenance costs are significantly lower too. With no engine oil to change, no exhaust system, no clutch, and regenerative braking that extends brake pad life, electric van servicing is simpler and cheaper. Fleet operators typically see a 40–60% reduction in maintenance spend compared to equivalent diesel vans.
L7e Classification — No HGV Licence Required
The EVC CitySprint is classified as an L7e heavy quadricycle, meaning it can be driven on a standard Category B car licence. This opens up your entire workforce as potential drivers without the cost and time of additional licence training. It also means lower insurance premiums compared to N1 category light commercial vehicles.
The L7e classification also exempts the CitySprint from many of the regulations that apply to heavier commercial vehicles, including certain weight-restricted roads and bridges, making it ideal for urban last-mile delivery routes where larger vans face access restrictions.
